How to install PocketHostnames

PocketHostnames uses standard ActiveSync for program installation. As such, there are no specific steps to take. On your connected desktop machine, just double-click the setup.exe that comes as part of the install set.

Installing the application without the help of a desktop PC is not officially supported. However, it most often can be done by simply copying the .cab file to the Pocket PC file system and clicking it in Pocket PC explorer. This should trigger application installation on the device. Please note that Adiscon does neither support nor recommend this type of installation. If you do it, do it at your own risk.
